LONDON, UK (March 13th, 2024) – The Mobile Gaming Awards, the world’s premiere mobile industry awards organisation, is excited to kick off its 2024 campaign by announcing the return of the Mobies, taking place this summer in London!

Last year’s spectacular ceremony in Los Angeles achieved over 1.9 million total viewers, was broadcast across nine platforms, and saw over 1.5M  votes cast. Founded by the team behind the Esports Awards, the industry-acclaimed award ceremony watched by 20 million people each year, and Matt “MobileMatt” Rutledge,  the Mobies will continue to document, recognise, and reward excellence in the mobile industry.

Last year’s Mobies saw a spectacular ceremony at the multi-Emmy award-winning Infinite Reality Studio in sunny Los Angeles. The star-studded event hosted some of the biggest faces and organisations from mobile gaming, esports, and beyond, with the likes of Marvel Snap, Andrew “Judo” Sloth, and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang all picking up awards. The event also featured a surprise award to S8ul Esports for Global Impact on Mobile Gaming–recognising an organisation going above and beyond to enhance the industry.

After an incredible turnout in 2023, which featured outstanding hosts Daniel “dGon” Gonzales, Elyse “Herculyse” Herrera, and Garrett “Shady” Smith JR, this year’s Mobies will continue to honour players, teams, media, hardware providers, games, events, and personalities in the esports, gaming and mobile industries.

“We’re thrilled to announce the return of the Mobies for its second ceremony, this time set to take place in the gaming capital of the UK, London. Last year was such an exciting time, working with brilliant minds to bring the first Mobies ceremony to life. In a world where the mobile industry continues to shape our daily lives, it’s crucial to honour those driving the industry’s innovation and progress. As we gear up for another unforgettable night, we’re eager to celebrate the remarkable achievements of the individuals, teams and organisations that have propelled this rapidly evolving industry forward.” said Matt Rutledge, Co-founder of the Mobies.

Stay tuned for updates on the Mobies, including the unveiling of new award categories and the opening of public nominations.
