LOS ANGELES, CA (April 6th, 2022) – The Mobile Gaming Awards, the world’s premiere mobile-related awards organisation, is excited to kick off its 2023 campaign by announcing its inaugural ceremony, the Mobies, taking place this summer in Los Angeles. With a goal to acknowledge and celebrate excellence in the mobile industry, the Mobies is dedicated to elevating the profile of the fast-growing mobile industry.
The Mobies is set to take place on Friday, July 14th with a lavish ceremony in sunny Los Angeles. Award categories and nominations will be announced on April 27th and fans will be able to vote for their favourite nominee every 24 hours from then until June 30th. But until then, fans can still vote for the categories they want to see awarded at mobileawards.com.
Founded by team behind the Esports Awards, the industry-acclaimed award ceremony watched by over 20 million people each year, and Matt “MobileMatt” Rutledge, founder and CEO of BAYZ, the Mobies will recognise players, teams, media, hardware providers, games, events, and personalities within the industry. The Mobies will first focus on highlighting the esports and gaming industry with the opportunity to expand into the general mobile industry in future years.
Similar to the Esports Awards, The Mobies will feature a panel of key industry experts from across the globe including:
