WHAT IS THE MOBIES

In 2020, the Esports Awards introduced the Mobile Player and Mobile Game of the Year awards. The support from the mobile community was astounding, revealing a strong desire for more.
Fast forward to 2023, when the inaugural Mobies took place in Los Angeles, attracting a global audience of leaders. With 24 times the viewership and over 200 times the community votes compared to the first year of the Esports Awards, the event surpassed all expectations.
Thank you to the players, teams, organizations, and fans for their unwavering support of the Mobies. We are excited to build upon these solid foundations as we head to Los Angeles in the Winter of 2024.

THE AWARDS

SHOWCASING TOP CLASS PERFORMANCE AND INNOVATION.

The Mobies document, recognize, and reward excellence in the mobile industry.

Founded by the team operating the Esports Awards, the industry-acclaimed award ceremony watched by +20M people every year, the Mobies features a panel of industry leaders with a mission to identify and recognize achievements across the world. The project is co-founded by Matt “MobileMatt” Rutledge, a mobile esports veteran. Before co-founding BAYZ, Matt was Director of Mobile Gaming at Complexity Gaming, one of America’s most elite and longest-standing esports organizations.

Categories cover games, publishers but also players and community-focused awards.

We believe in the importance of inclusivity, accessibility, and diversity. Our award ceremony celebrates games that are accessible to players of all skill levels, and we prioritize initiatives that promote inclusivity and diversity. We also aim to promote positive social values, such as cooperation, kindness, and environmental sustainability.
